Azcom Technology’s carrier-grade 5G NTN PHY software significantly accelerates a satellite on-board gNodeB development time. This complete PHY solution is available on AMD Versal and MPSoC platforms, delivering high performance and deployment flexibility. Designed for field deployment, the solution has been extensively tested and is supported by a comprehensive toolset, including a simulation chain, test environment, and continuous integration framework.

Azcom’s highly experienced signal processing team has been developing PHY and baseband software for over 25 years for various OEMs and device vendors. NB-IoT PHY and Stack Software

NB-IoT is experiencing renewed momentum, particularly with space-based deployments that enable seamless connectivity for applications such as smart metering, precision agriculture, mining operations, surface and maritime containers, and smart cities.

Azcom has been active in the NB-IoT domain for nearly a decade, developing a carrier-grade PHY and L2/L3 protocol stack software solution. These PHY and stack software components have been successfully integrated into the Azcom NB-IoT eNodeB product and field-trialed as part of a European Space Agency 5G IoT project focused on asset tracking for container ships (Reference: Full-Scale Assessment of the “5GT System” for Tracking and Monitoring of Multimodal Dry Containers – Click here to find out more ).

As with all Azcom PHY software IPs, the NB-IoT PHY solution is delivered with a comprehensive development and validation toolset: end-to-end simulation chain, advanced test environment and continuous integration framework. This integrated toolchain enables efficient, convergent enhancements and rigorous validation. The L2/L3 protocol stack software is accompanied by a complete host-based test environment that supports individual module testing as well as full end-to-end validation.
