Azcom Technology provides a complete set of building blocks to jump start a customer 5G/4G DU, RU Development. These include a powerful baseband board hosting latest processors, FPGA SoCs and integrated RFIC supporting large spectrum range. A simple plug-in interface is available to host AFE boards to support different bands and output power

The reference design comes with all the software components which include carrier grade PHY and stack software, platform software, management plane including O-RAN M-plane, and automated test environment for both software and hardware.

All these hardware, RF and software blocks have been developed completely inhouse without any third-party dependencies. This provides customers a single point interface for any customization and enhancement. Azcom also provides all the necessary support during entire product development cycle.

Furthermore, all these hardware and software blocks come with standard interfaces – eCPRI /O-RAN, FAPI/nFAPI, Gbit ethernet – permitting customers to integrate blocks developed inhouse or sourced from another third party.

Additional Use Case: Network In a Box (NIB)

The Azcom reference design can be further enhanced to target a NIB/RDN solution product with just an add-on board processor enabling to run vendor selected third-party 5G/4G Core Network including IMS and User application based on the needs.

This will permit to define up to an entire Mobile Network product solution usable in various scenario in order to meet different challenges.
